Born and raised in Iowa, Steve moved to Arizona in 1970 where he raised his two daughters, Amy and Emily, and currently resides with his wife, Sara in Chandler. 

Steve graduated from Arizona State University in 1974.  He taught High School Business classes at Chandler H.S., McClintock H.S. and Desert Vista H.S.  He officiated High School, Jr. College and PAC-10 basketball.  He is a member of the Arizona Chain Crew that work all the Arizona State University Football games.  His Chain Crew also works the Arizona Cardinals home football games.  They also work the two post season Bowl games, the Cactus Bowl and  the Fiesta Bowl.  He has worked three Super Bowls and one Pro Bowl game!

Steve started painting for the Tempe Union High School district in 1978 as a summer job.  He liked it so much that after a few years he decided to paint for himself in the summer.  After retiring from teaching in 2005, Steve has been painting full time, serving much of the Valley with his 30 years of experience.  Throughout the years, Steve has developed a wealth of knowledge, a huge customer base, and a great deal of experience in all facets of painting.
